The next Club meeting is Monday November 5th at 7:30p in the Sisseton Room at the Holiday Inn. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to attend.
Can you believe it…. We are less than one month away from the official 12/1 trail open date?!?! So that means we will be in full swing this next month putting in trial signs, brushing and fixing bridges. We still have some trail sections available needing a leader. If you are interested in helping with a section of trail please reach out to me or Roman Johnson. Otherwise watch your email for work days to finish signing those sections. If you know of any section of trail that needs attention let us know!
I will have a couple more updates available on the cost numbers for the potential cold storage building. Please come and voice your thoughts and ideas. At the December meeting I would urge the Club to make a decision on whether or not this is something we would like to move forward with or not.
Glows parade is Nov 16th. If you would like to take the lead on decorating a float let me know. We can use the new side by side to pull something through.
Nov 17th we are going to have an open house from 10-2 at the Groomer shed. This would give local snowmobilers and the community the opportunity to come check out the groomer, meet club members and hopefully join the club. We will serve up some hotdogs/chips/cookies/pop. I will be creating a Facebook event in the next day or so please share. Please try to attend and bring a friend!
