Trails

We groom 140 miles of trails in Martin County. We connect up with Iowa trails to the South and bordering counties to the East and North, which lead to many other trail systems. For a map of the Cedar Creek Park click here.

For Your Safety

Please observe the following:
  1. Always operate your snowmobile at a reasonable and prudent speed for trail conditions which may change
    daily.
  2. Always drive on the right side of the trail and park to the right in single file or stop off the edge of the groomed
    surface.
  3. Do not pass unless recognized and motioned to pass by the snowmobile operator ahead.
    Appreciate the efforts of the trail groomer operator and try to leave the trail in the same condition as you
    found it.
  4. Do not drink and drive. STEER CLEAR.
  5. The future of snowmobiling depends on the impressions created by snowmobilers today. Remember, all
    snowmobilers are judged by the actions of a few. Please do not cause any loud disturbances near homes or
    cause damage to any trees or shrubs or other property.
  6. Please remember that some of our trails cross private land. These landowners have been kind enough to give
    us easements across their land. You have permission to ride on the marked trails only.
  7. Do not disturb wildlife or livestock.
  8. Do not remove or destroy any trail signs.
  9. Do not litter. You carried it in; carry it out.
  10. These trails are for snowmobiles only. All other motorized vehicles are prohibited.
  11. Take special care when crossing roadways.
  12. These trails are for winter use only: December 1 through March 31. No trespassing in off-season months.
  13. Obey all signs. (Watch for theft of signs.)
Report any violations to county authorities or the phone numbers on the map.
