Our next meeting will be January 4th, 2016 at the Holiday Inn in Fairmont in the Sisseton Room at 7:30 P.M.. Brian Ruschy needs all of our support in dealing with ad sales for the races and map ads. Because he is willing to take on so much I am afraid we have left it all up to him. I may be overstating as I know some of you have been working hard also but I don’t want Brian to get overwhelmed.
On a lesser level I know how he feels. I was pretty stressed at last year’s snowmobile safety class trying to get organized before the class. This year several people came to help and it was amazing what a difference a few helping hands can do. Ty Wintheiser and his mom, Amy, were there as was James Kloekner, Duane Peyman, Dale Tonne, and Cade Lehr who also helped instruct the driving course. Ross Gronewald from Granada also came to help where he could and Jeff Paris and Brent Oberdieck also helped in the classroom with presentations. Mark Drever did a wonderful job of keeping the people interested and I heard from several afterward what a great job he did. I say all of this to emphasize my point that many hands make small work of big jobs. Thanks to all of you and I hope we can get some help for Brian.
As I am typing this it is snowing!! Watch the club website to see if and where the groomer is going to be. I am excited for a chance to ride our trails.
I stopped and talked to Anna at Kinship and she is happy we are willing to give rides. She said she would like at least two weeks notice so now with some snow we can begin to look at that. I was asking her about the combining of Kinship and Martin Co. Mentoring and she was not sure when that would happen. It would be nice if that could be done so we would have more children to entertain.
Hope to see you at the meeting!
