Our next meeting is tomorrow Monday November 6th at 7:30p in the Sisseton Room at the Holiday Inn. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to attend.
There is a chill in the air and I saw some snow flakes flying these past few weeks. Time to dust off the sleds so we can RIDE!
Thanks to our amazing club members and many other volunteers throughout the state we have a vast trail system to ride. Trails will officially open on Dec 1st if Mother Nature cooperates. With the slow progress in the fields our window will be pretty tight to get signs in and other trail prep work over fields completed. Keep an eye on your emails for a work day to put in the south loop.
We will also need help distributing trail maps and race posters as soon as those are ready.
Races are scheduled for Sat January 13th with Sun the backup day for weather. If this colder weather is any indication of what is to come we should have good ice. Again we will need help throughout the day.
Snowmobile Safety is scheduled for Saturday January 6th. You must sign up through the Fairmont CER and have purchased and taken the online course prior to the one day overview and riding test.
Thank you for being a club member! This is a great time of year to invite a friend to the meeting and see what we do and why it is important. As alway encourage young people to become involved and Like/Follow/Share the Blizzard Snowmobile Club on Facebook and Instagram @ #blizzard_snowmobile_club_
Lead by example and make sure to register your sleds!
See you at the meeting on Monday night!
